Edit a Delivery Token

Note: Once created, you can only edit the details (name, alias, description, branch, or publishing environment) of a delivery token at any time.

To edit a delivery token, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:

1. Go to your stack, and click the “Settings” icon (press “S”) on the left navigation panel.
2. Click Tokens. By default, you will be on the Delivery Tokens tab. If not, click the Delivery Tokens tab (or press “alt + O” for Windows OS users, and “option + O” for Mac OS). This will open a page where you can see a list of existing delivery tokens in the stack.
3. Select the delivery token you intend to modify, and proceed to make the necessary changes. If a preview token hasn't been generated yet, you can do so by clicking the + Create Preview Token button.
4. Click Save to update the delivery token.
