As we move into the end of the year, Contentstack is excited to share our Fall 2024 platform update, packed with new capabilities that streamline content operations, bolster collaboration, and elevate your digital experiences. Here’s a rundown of what’s new, improved, and on the way.

CMS Enhancements: Speed and Scale

Scalability and efficiency remain top priorities at Contentstack. This fall, we’ve introduced Bulk Add to support massive content operations, allowing up to 50,000 items to be managed simultaneously. Additionally, a suite of UX improvements makes content management more intuitive than ever, helping teams working with large content volumes navigate faster, more flexible workflows that can better scale to meet business needs.

New Analytics API: Unlocking Deeper Insights

October marked the release of the Analytics API, an exciting addition that exposes rich data from our Mission Control dashboard and Product Analytics module. Now, customers can integrate this data into any BI tool of their choice, allowing teams the freedom to create customizable insights tailored to their specific goals. This API also works in concert with Contentstack Automate, enabling advanced use cases, such as generating automated reports and monthly comparisons powered by built-in LLM capabilities, providing insights effortlessly.

Brand Kit and Playground: Experimentation with Consistency

Our new AI-driven Brand Kit feature empowers teams to maintain brand voice consistency across all content, ensuring that every asset aligns with brand guidelines. Our Playground environment offers a safe testing ground for those looking to innovate without risk. Here, teams can experiment with new ideas, voice profiles, or even integrations with our knowledge vault—all without impacting live content.

Contentstack Personalize: A New Level of Audience Targeting

Personalized content is essential for modern, targeted marketing, and Contentstack Personalize is our answer. This powerful system facilitates precise Audience Targeting through both first- and third-party data, along with integrations to leading Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Twilio Segment. Experimentation capabilities via A/B/n testing use analytics and algorithms to evaluate which content variations resonate best with different audiences. Additionally, our CMS now includes Variants as a native feature, a first for personalization platforms, enabling content teams to create personalized content variations on a granular level and support localized campaigns for diverse audiences.

Visual Builder: Real-Time Editing and Preview

We’re especially excited to introduce the Contentstack Visual Builder, which transforms how users can interact with and edit content. This powerful update expands the preview service beyond simple visuals into a complete authoring experience with in-line editing of content, assets, and media. Users can now navigate their websites, make changes, and preview updates instantly, all within a visual interface. Core CMS tools like workflows, commenting, and our AI Writing Assistant are seamlessly integrated, enhancing efficiency for collaborative teams.

Visual Builder also ensures smooth adoption by integrating with existing content models. No complex migrations are necessary; customers simply need an SDK upgrade if Live Preview is already in place.
